Our day out in Ely

I have to try to stick to my blog brief of London on the cheap: return fare to Ely for old crocks £16.50. From Kings Cross or Liverpool street (slower)

It was a wonderful Spring day with Jan Bev, Linda and of course John

We toured the cathedral and met St Etheldreda. I love the statue of her which is in the Lady Chapel at the cathedral- the best I have ever seen in that pose of benediction
