The Hustings for Bethnal Green and Bow

Hustings were held for the candidates. Nobody came from RESPECT which says a lot I think.
And the audience were amazing- hardly any Bangladeshis in a constituency where they are in the majority (probably). The church then said prayers for the election and for our country. Andy reminded us how fortunate we were to live in such a stable country- in spite of the problems

  1. It's a shame that only one of the candidates actually stayed for the prayers, the man from the United Voice. He's got my vote.

  2. Mark - would of loved to have stayed for the Sing-a-Long and Prayers as it really was a wonderful Church - but The Spartans Organisation had a Green Hustings on at 6.30pm - so Candidates needed to attened those at the Rich Mix Cinema. However, once again it was a no show from most of the candidates.
