Mary and I then went to Trentham Gardens -saw some lamps by( Emily?) Moorcroft -Mary was very very tempted. Needless to say they were £400 apiece. Trentham struggling as a sales area it seemed.

Sunday 27th September
Today at St Mary and St Chad Longton for Mass. Pretty amazing- full up on 'Back to Church Sunday' and Father Paul Lockett's sermon on how we waste our lives and time unless we are reaching out to others. It was a great talk on the topic of not wasting our lives or spoiling the earth. Unusually for Father Paul it was very hard to follow!
